***Registration Policy/Information***

Spring Registration – The initial period of registration will begin in late May and continue until June 18, 2004. The discounted registration fee applies to all registrations received before June 18, 2004. We urge you to register early so that you can take advantage of the Spring Registration discount.

Summer Registration – Summer registration will continue after the close of spring registration and will continue until September 1, 2004. The full registration fee will apply to those registering for Religious Education during this period – June 19 through September 1.

Late Registration – After September 1, 2004, a late fee of $25.00 will be applied to all registrations. It is necessary to apply a late fee to cover the extra costs incurred by ordering additional books and supplies, which we will not be able to order at the lower bulk rate. Please register early.

A late fee of $25 will apply to all late registrations (after September 1, 2004).
Please make checks payable to “Blessed Sacrament Parish” and mail to Religious Education Office.

The registration fee covers the cost of books, teacher materials, audio visual materials, a wide variety of school supplies, Bibles, film rental, printing and mailing costs, certificates, supplies for grade level Masses, teacher education, and weekly custodial service.

**Starting Dates for Classes**
Classes are held at Saugus High School Sundays 10:15-11:15 a.m
2^nd Level First Penance & First Communion Prep. (usually Gr. 2) through Gr. 8 – Sept. 19, 2004
1^st Level First Penance & First Communion Prep. (usually Gr. 1) – October 3, 2004

The registration form states that “consistency in attendance is expected.” We are limited to the number of Sundays we can use the high school; therefore, attendance each Sunday is important. If a child will be absent from class over a period of time due to sports activities, families are responsible to notify the grade level moderator in advance and arrange for make up work for the time the child is out.

**Book Pick Up Dates for Grades 1-8 (at the Church Hall)**

Tuesday, September 7, 2004 – 6:30-8:30 p.m.

Thursday, September 9, 2004 – 6:30-8:30 p.m.

The starting dates for our Confirmation Preparation Program, which is held at the parish, will be announced later. Materials for both levels (Grades 9 & 10) will be available in class.

Level 1 (Grade 1) and Families New to the Parish

Please pick up a Level One registration or a new to the parish registration at the rectory Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 4 PM.
